re Altitude sickness
I have found margaritas to work quite well. Especially those served in Monument, CO. And the donuts at the top of Pikes’ Peak worked for me, too. (Of course, the latter were the day after the former so there may have been some residual effect in play.) I’m sure the Ibuprofen would be cheaper, however. Not as much fun, but cheaper.
I don’t drink, otherwise it would have been tempting….
