Yet another internet rumor, for the gun folk this time

This one affects gunnies, so hopefully you all will help spread the reality.

I actually saw this posted on someones blog that I was perusing via the Gun Blog Black list, don’t recall where though, and at the time didn’t have the energy to follow up on it, and of course forgot to save the link so I could go back and look further.  But apparently there’s a rumor that thieves are targeting gunnies by putting red dots on their cars and then following them and breaking in.  Hsoi was curious as it was supposedly happening not to far from him.  So he did some digging.  And he couldn’t find anything to back up the information, but he DID find this.  So lets help end this particular rumor before it spreads to much further ok?

tag”

Well, attempts to contact their tech support for help importng the blog met with a resounding silence. An attempt tp get help through their forum got advice (admitedly from another regular person, not support) that didn’t work. I finally solved the problem by doing the opposite of the suggested advice. Not the best ever first impression.

I also have to admit to being spoiled by Blogger’s allowing of modification of the template, I can play with the HTML & the CSS, rearrange the sidebars to my content….and it doesn’t look like any of that is allowed on the free WordPress, I can’t do ANY HTML or CSS modification without paying a fee. Anyone reading this have experience the self hosted version? How easy is it to use? I mean, I can do some HTML and the like, but I’m not an expert, and thanks to a pair of puppies I’m a little short on the time it would take to figure it out.

Portions of I81 closed due to road collapse. You know, this is the 2nd time this year we’ve had portions of a major roadway disintergrate. Dammit. And my husband wonders why I don’t like the highways here.

(f*ing Google, fix this damn thing so it works with iPads PROPERLY dammit!)

Edited to fix the formatting and other issues that Google can’t be bothered to fix for the iPad.  Idiots.

Wow, I’m impressed with the stuff.  Works like a charm.  I mean, sure, the reviews were great, which was why I bought it in the first place, but wow.  Totally solved the snowball problem, and a day later its still working.  Not sure how often I’ll have to re-apply, that’ll be trial and error, but cool!

Poor Apollo’s having some issues with the snow

Specifically snowballs between his toes. We didn’t have this problem last year, so I’m wondering if its a side affect of how wet its been. Reguardless its affecting his enjoyment of the snow. I had picked up a jar of Mushers Secret last year and never used it, but I dug it out this morning and applied a coat to his paws. He wasn’t apprecietive, but we’ll see if it helps. The snowballs on his feet definetly make him uncomfortable, so if this doesn’t help I might have to see if I can find booties in his size.
